Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the USA. Thanksgiving always falls on the fourth Thursday in November, so Black Friday naturally falls after this Thursday. This is where you usually start the big Christmas shopping and here it will be possible to save a lot of money during your Christmas shopping. Black Friday is not a public holiday in the USA, but you usually have Thanksgiving and this Friday off. However, this is only in some states in the USA.
Black Friday came to Denmark in 2013, when some web shops started this new trend in Denmark. The big breakthrough was in 2015, however.
Black Friday is often linked to a similar sale called Cyber Monday, which is held on the internet three days later in several web shops.
